Melissa Davis-Bishop is the heart & brains behind Celebration by Design & she knows all too well that you are only as good as your last event, irrespective of how many years you have under your belt.

As the founder of Adelaide’s boutique special event business, she has a flair for designing & coordinating impressive events whether it be a sunset cocktail party on the beach, a marquee wedding for 300 in the middle of a paddock or a corporate Christmas function complete with you know who & his reindeer (well, perhaps not the reindeer!?!). Melissa has organised events for 15 to 1500 & during almost a decade in the industry has earned a reputation for her ‘anything is possible’ attitude – we pride ourselves on this difference & our exemplary personal service.

Whilst a piece of paper doesn’t mean much without hands on experience, Melissa holds a Diploma of Event Management & ensures that all of her dedicated team are similarly qualified. With a considerable number of ‘backyard operators’ in the industry, it is reassuring to know you & your special event are in professional hands.

It stands to reason that we are great planners but just as important is our ability to think on our feet. Melissa likens herself to a duck (& not because she can often be seen with her brood of ducklings following behind)…on the surface gently cruising through the water yet what you don’t see is a pair of feet working feverishly away underneath.
